The NASCAR Cup Series Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway is on Sunday and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. These days, Blaney can win anywhere. Early in his Cup Series career, Blaney’s strength was flat tracks, and he’s still fast on them. At Gateway last season, Blaney finished 24th, but he was leading with two laps remaining. He could have cruised to victory—he should have cruised to victory. Unfortunately, Blaney didn’t realize he was low on fuel until he ran out. In the 2023 race, he had enough fuel to finish sixth, and he placed fourth in the inaugural WWTR Cup Series race in 2022.
The No. 12 Penske Ford has plenty of speed. In Practice Group A, drivers faced a green track but still torched the scoreboard. Group B, which included most playoff drivers, appeared slower on the timesheet, but the data was skewed for everyone—except Blaney. Despite the disadvantage, Blaney was among the fastest drivers in both Group A and Group B.
This is a disrespectful line. Dillon doesn’t do himself any favors. He’s easy to hate, and the sportsbooks hate him—or at the very least, dislike him. That’s a mistake. Dillon isn’t in the playoffs by accident. He won the flat-track race at Richmond, and he did it cleanly this year. Last season, he finished sixth at World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway). His RCR teammate, Kyle Busch, won at WWTR in 2023.
RCR completely missed the setup, and their practice session was miserable. However, they made adjustments, and Dillon qualified inside the top 15. This is a track position race—they’re all track position races with the Gen-7 car. Practice sessions matter, but hot laps in the qualifying session go a long way toward securing a solid race finish. Dillon has a decent pit stall and solid track position. The goal is simple: finish where he starts. RCR has only one car in the playoffs, and it’s Richard Childress’ grandson. The majority of the team’s resources will be devoted to helping Ace secure a top-15 finish.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of at least two players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing at least two players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
