A speeding luxury car rammed a two-wheeler on Sunday near Delhi Cantonment metro station, killing a senior official of the Union Finance Ministry and injuring three others, said the police.
The deceased, identified as Navjot Singh, was a Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance. The three injured include Singh’s wife, a woman, who was driving the car at the time of the incident, and her husband. Singh was riding the two-wheeler with his wife riding pillion, the police said.
