ABERDEEN – This year has been a milestone year for bio-tech business Gulf Spore, which recently expanded from its commercial mushroom farm in Aberdeen to Florida. The company uses mushroom extracts to help with numerous health aspects, such as sleepless nights and stress and it’s in the process of becoming the first mushroom farming franchise in the nation.
It’s also in the testing process of using its technology to improve the freshness of produce to reduce food waste.
