SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — The Music Village hosted a fall open house for the community to explore the space and meet board members.
Guests were able to try out an instrument with a TMV instructor or just enjoy live music and light refreshments.
This event also shared details about TMV’s Capital Expansion Project, plans for a recording arts initiative, and kicked off the 2026 Future Fund.
"So the whole hope for that recording arts studio is that it will give local artists and musicians the tools and education they need to produce their own music, to network with other local and regional artists and to grow their audience," said Laura Rea, executive director of the Music Village.
The expansion includes a more than 4,000-square-foot facility with nine classrooms and a recording arts studio.
TMV also kicked off the annual Future Fund, aiming to raise $100,000.
