Textures, the Dutch progressive metalcore innovators, have announced that their long-awaited comeback album, “Genotype,” will be released on January 23rd via Kscope. After disbanding in 2017, the group officially reunited in 2023, marking this as their first new full-length effort since their return.
The upcoming record follows 2016’s “Phenotype” and serves as its conceptual counterpart. The band first teased the album with “Closer To The Unknown” in June, and have now shared the second single, “At The Edge Of Winter,” released today. The track features a guest appearance from Charlotte Wessels (ex-Delain), with bassist Remko Tielemans handling the direction for its accompanying music video.
Mixed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus), “Genotype” was self-produced by the band.

Bleed have unveiled a new music video for their track “Cynical.” The shoegaze/alternative metal outfit enlisted Colt Matheson to direct the clip, which was filmed on June 29th, 2025, in the parking lot of Charlie’s Star Lounge in their hometown of Dallas, TX.
The song appears on the band’s self-titled debut album, released this past May, and the video’s debut coincides with Bleed’s November 7th performance at the Paper Tiger in San Antonio, TX, where they’ll share the stage with Fury, Narrow Head, and The Unit.

A brand new music video for “The Darkest City” has just arrived from Finnish melodic death metal veterans Omnium Gatherum. The track appears on their forthcoming tenth studio album, “May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way,” which officially drops today.

You can now feast your eyes and ears on the official video for “Blade Between The Teeth,” the latest single from Florida deathcore heavyweights Bodysnatcher. The clip was directed by Toddi Babu (known for his work with Silly Goose and Heavy//Hitter).
True to form, the band drops this new track just as they gear up to hit the road.
