BRUNSWICK — As Brunswick’s Chris Vasquez Molina celebrated his fifth goal of the game against Snow Hill boys soccer, head coach Shawn Baker told several players on the bench to get loose.
The Railroaders were routing the Eagles in the Class 1A state quarterfinal, and Baker wanted to rest his starters so they remained fresh as the postseason continued. All the while, Vasquez Molina had a record on his mind.
