Numerous businesses in recent months have announced location closings.
The list below includes locations in Pennsylvania that have closed or will close soon, and include banks, restaurants, and stores.
The businesses on the list are in 12 counties. This list is published on PennLive several times a year. The most recent list of business closings was published on Oct. 24.
TD Bank
The branch at 1060 Second Street Pike is closing, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
Fulton Bank
The branch at 603 Old York Road is closing, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
TD Bank
The branch at 200 Lancaster Ave. is closing, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
Grateful Goat Brewing & Provisions
The establishment at 1300 Camp Hill Bypass has closed. The restaurant with an on-site brewery opened in 2021.
“We’re grateful for everyone who’s supported us all these years,” the restaurant said on its Facebook page.
Meadows Frozen Custard
Meadows Frozen Custard at 1075 Harrisburg Pike has closed after seven years.
“Thank you to all the loyal customers over my years, and employees I’ve employed, but we are now out of business. I wish you all the best and thank you from the bottom of my heart!” the owner said on the company’s Facebook page.
Meadows Frozen Custard specialized in frozen custard, yogurt, Italian ice, milkshakes, and sundaes.
Moonlight Diner
The restaurant at 1400 Carlisle Pike has closed.
“It breaks our hearts to share that we’ve had to close our doors. This decision did not come easy, but with prices rising and bills getting higher every day, it became impossible to keep going,” the restaurant said on its Facebook page.
Fulton Bank
The branch at 6520 Carlisle Pike is closing, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
Value City Furniture
The store at the Silver Spring Commons shopping center at 6520 Carlisle Pike is closing.
Fulton Bank
The branch at 1212 Cocoa Ave. is closing, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
Houlihan’s
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts has announced that Houlihan’s at 27 W. Chocolate Ave. at the Hershey Press Building is closing after 20 years and will reopen next year as Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar. Houlihan’s will remain open until Dec. 31. Houlihan’s opened in 2006.
Smoked Bar & Grill
The restaurant at 1201 W. Chocolate Ave. has closed after 12 years. Smoked served barbecue such as wings, brisket and ribs, and had a full bar.
“BBQ isn’t the craze it once was, and with beef at record highs and meat costs soaring, it’s become harder to charge what we’d need to keep it sustainable,” the restaurant said in a message on its Facebook page.
ZeroDay Brewing
ZeroDay has closed its stand at Fresh Market at Hershey Towne Square.
“This spot has been home to countless beers, laughs, and memories, and we can’t thank our Hershey crew and community enough for all the love you’ve shown,” owner Theo Armstrong shared on Facebook.
Aleco’s Cafe & Restaurant
The restaurant at 714 N. Second St. has closed after eight years. The restaurant served pizza, subs, and heartier Italian entrees.
Harrisburg Dairies Inc.
The fourth-generation milk producer was established in 1931 and sold milk, iced teas, lemonades, bottled water and juices. The company at 2001 Herr St. closed in October.
Shakedown BBQ
The restaurant at 1708 Fairmont Drive has closed.
“We have made the decision to close Shakedown effective immediately. Thank you for your loyal support over all of the years, we are forever grateful. We are so thankful for the friends we’ve made over the years, and hope we have provided a little happiness in your lives as you have to ours,” the restaurant said on its Facebook page.
The restaurant at the Union Station development opened in 2023.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill
The Italian restaurant at 2531 Brindle Drive at the Shoppes at Susquehanna Marketplace has closed.
“We are permanently closed. Thank you for 20 great years!” a sign at the restaurant said.
TD Bank
The branch at 131 E. Macdade Blvd. is closing, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
PNC Bank
The bank is closing its branches at 3830 Pine Ave. and at 123 High St., according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
Morgan Truck Body
The company said it plans to temporarily close its manufacturing facility at 485 Wenger Drive, resulting in the layoff of 92 people.
“This is a temporary closure with an unknown duration due to unforeseeable business circumstances,” the company said in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification.
The company did not elaborate on the ‘unforeseeable business circumstances’ it is facing. The layoffs are expected to take place on Dec. 15 or within 14 days of that date.
Isaac’s Craft Kitchen & Brewery
Isaac’s closed its restaurant at 120 N. Reading Road. In a press statement, Isaac’s attributed the closures of this location and two others on this list to several factors, including its sales and the restaurants’ proximity to other Isaac’s locations.

Fulton Bank
The branch at 1995 Brookside Road is closing, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
The Club Wyndham Shawnee Village and the WorldMark Shawnee Village
Travel + Leisure Resort Development Inc. plans to close the Club Wyndham Shawnee Village and the WorldMark Shawnee Village at 5255 Buttermilk Falls Road. The layoffs are expected to begin on Dec. 31 and to be largely completed by Jan. 7. More layoffs will take place by April 7. After that date, a skeleton crew will remain employed temporarily to maintain the property pending its sale.
Fulton Bank
The branch at 2525 Nazareth Road has closed, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.
Starbucks
The coffee chain closed these six locations in Philadelphia:
Starbucks/HMSHost
HMSHost, which operates around 1,000 restaurants at about 80 airports, closed a Starbucks at Philadelphia International Airport at 8500 Essington Ave.
TD Bank
The branches at 399 Market St., and at Red Lion Road and Haldeman Avenue are closing.
Isaac’s Craft Kitchen & Brewery
Isaac’s closed its restaurant at 235 Pauline Drive.
