Police Boost Patrols at Religious Sites – The MoCo Show –

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) issued a statement Saturday saying it has increased patrols and officer visibility around religious institutions of all denominations and other sensitive locations as officials continue monitoring the situation in the Middle East.
Police said there are currently no known threats to the Montgomery County community and that the department is working with local, state, and federal partners to help ensure public safety. MCPD also encouraged residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activity, reminding the public to call 911 for emergencies or 301-279-8000 for non-emergencies.
