POLITICS & RELIGION: Unique Anchorage candidate forum will focus on biblical truth – Alaska Watchman

By AlaskaWatchman.com
In an effort to highlight and pray for God-fearing candidates in Anchorage’s upcoming April election, Alaska Family Action is hosting a candidate forum on March 20 at the Petroleum Club.
“At this luncheon forum, we’ll be, first and foremost, praying for our endorsed Assembly candidates who will be in attendance,” Alaska Family Action’s Jim Minnery explained. “We will also facilitate a discussion about how Biblical truth matters in Municipal decisions (yes…even regarding taxes, regulations and homelessness) and we’ll have a ‘speed dating’ style Q&A session with candidates going from table to table to get to know people better.”
The forum comes on the heels of Alaska Family Action publishing its new Value Voters Guide, in which all Anchorage candidates for Assembly and School Board were asked to weigh in on a whole host of critical topics dealing with faith, freedom, traditional family values and pro-life issues.
Titled “Seeking the Welfare of Our City,” the forum runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Click here to register.
