Community Housing & Resources (CHR) reported that Bubbly Latitude owners Sarah Jacobson and Kate Zembrodt will transform The Community House into a magical holiday world for its Winter Wonderland Festival of Trees on Nov. 21-22 on Sanibel.
The Winter Wonderland Festival of Trees Community Day will take place on Nov. 21 from noon to 8 p.m. It will feature a display of 20 holiday trees and 18 wreaths, adorned by area artists and supporters. There will also be family-friendly activities, photos with Santa and the Grinch, music by the BIG ARTS Community Chorus, refreshments and a cash bar, and a toy gift for every child. Admission is a suggested $5 donation for adults, and free for ages 18 and under.
The Winter Wonderland Festival of Trees Benefit will be held on Nov. 22 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. It will feature music, live and silent auctions, drinks and food, and more. Tickets are $175 per person.
“Guests will be able to walk through a true winter wonderland without putting on a parka. The Community House will be filled with trees, snowflakes and twinkling lights,” Jacobson said. “At Saturday evening’s gala, guests will feel like they’re dining and being entertained in a wintry palace.”
The proceeds will support CHR’s mission to provide affordable housing on the islands.
“Kate and Sarah are bringing a creative energy that will take visitors to another world. We’re so grateful for their talents and excited to see what they’ll conjure,” Executive Director Nicole Decker-McHale said. “Along with the amazing trees and wreaths by local artists and supporters, the Winter Wonderland Festival of Trees will be something to remember.”
